Cromland Book Claims & Returns

  Trade Policies (Books):
Prices & Discounts: All prices are U.S. publishers' suggested list prices. Prices are subject to change without notice. Cromland reserves the right to change discounts in accordance with publishers' changes in discounts. 

Invoicing, freight charges and payment/credit issues will be handled in accordance with Cromland's trade policies. For information regarding discounts and other trade policy information, please contact customer service at 610-266-6610, fax 610-266-8987, or info@cromland.com.

Claims :
All claims of shortage, damaged or defective stock, or incorrect titles must be reported within 7 days of receipt of the shipment. Cromland will credit for freight costs incurred within the U.S. if defects or damages were caused by Cromland shipping and/or packing errors.

If you receive a damaged shipment, you must save the boxes and packing material in case the transportation company needs to do a damage inspection.  Without the boxes and packing material, it is impossible for Cromland to file a claim on your behalf with the transportation company.

All Cromland merchandise is shipped F.O.B. Warehouse, Allentown, PA U.S.A.  See shipping for details.

Return Information:
  • Trade computer books are returnable for credit only within 6 months of purchase for all resellers & training organizations. All other accounts are required to make their return requests within 30 days from the date of the Cromland Invoice.
  • To make a return, please request an overstock return form. We will provide shipping instructions for foreign customers.  Do not return books without first contacting us.
  • Book returns with discount and invoice information will receive full credit.  Returns without this information will be credited at 50% off retail price.
  • All books must be in mint, resalable condition, and free from all stickers and markings.
  • We can only accept return of trade computer books. Other types of books are special orders and are, therefore, non-returnable.
Period of eligibility:
A. Not later than 6 months after date of invoice.  Books must be in print.
B. Not more than 30 days following our notice of discontinuation.
